CNN: "Google getting into online travel"

Last night’s John King USA show on CNN featured a segment in which anchor Jessica Yellin interviewed Tom Barnett, counsel to Expedia and former assistant attorney general for antitrust at the DOJ, and Adama Kovacevich, Google’s senior manager of global communications and public affairs. Importantly, Tom Barnett points out Google’s ability to combine its dominance in search with ITA’s leading position as the provider of flight search and travel technology to limit other companies’ ability to reach consumers. Worth a watch.
